~Dear Clients~

I’d like to take a moment to wish everyone a blessed Christmas season and a prosperous New Year! 2009 wouldn’t have been as amazing without all of you being apart of it. I feel truly blessed to be able to share in a little of all of your lives, and for some of you, in pretty big ways this year. Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2010! ~HUGS~

xoxo

Paris is defiantly the city of love. Everything I caught with my camera lens showed how romantic it is there. It was one of the most fun places I’ve ever been to take photos. I was lucky enough to go on this trip because my Thai brother, Cake, was living in Paris for while. It was really interesting getting to see the city through his eyes. Cake has a great love for good food and we ate very very well. Or at least the kind of well that I like. Healthy with a lot of flavor. There are dishes I ate in Paris that I can still instantly remember how they tasted when I think of them they were so amazing. One fun thing about this trip is that Cake likes to take pictures too! So that meant he gave me lots of opportunities to photograph things and encouraged us to do activities souly based on their photographic awesomeness factor. Very beneficial for me and very rarely happens.
I think the one thing I will remember most about Paris is the first time I saw the Eiffel Tower. We were taking the subway escalator up and as we stepped off I looked to my left and right there in front of me was one of the most enormous yet beautiful structures I have ever seen in my entire life. I was in aww of it. I could have stood there for hours and have not gotten bored. I’d be willing to stop back in Paris for a day just to spend another hour in front of her one last time.
One of the mornings, Cake and I stood in line for a few hours so that we could climb to the bell towers of Notre Dame and be in the presence of the gargoyles. They were beautiful creatures. However, 400 steps up a very windy staircase were you can’t stop and rest and 400 steps back down. I was so afraid of tripping on my way down I was stressing my muscles and by the time we got to the bottle my legs were so shaky they practically gave way. Afterwards I was able to catch the Sunday morning Catholic mass at Notre Dame. (which is one of my favorite things, I know of the words by memory.) I was in the second row! Why? Parisians apparently don’t seem to go to church so the place was empty! What an opportunity. I will never forget it. One more thing we did was tour the catacombs which are now closed off to the public. They were very cool! And I did make sure to touch a few human skulls along the way! 🙂
Down side to Paris? The people, yeah, they are just as rude as everyone says they are. But what really got to me was the smell. It was the smelliest place I have EVER been in my life. I won’t go into detail but it was weird walking by a woman who looked like she just stepped out of the cover of Voge magazine and then having her smell like BO mixed with the scent of what I would consider the epitome of French whore strength perfume. Just not right!
I do think that someday I’d like to visit this city again, but only with a man I love. I think it truly would seem like a different place when you aren’t wandering the streets of epic romance by yourself.
