I’m sure you remember Aubree from previous years. I can’t believe this cute girl is already 6 years old! Today we took photos at a little green pasture by her parents house with her and her 2 year old sister. It was a beautiful day. A little breeze and the temperature was just right. At six it can be a little harder to get out a real smile, especially when you have to share your photo day with your little sister. So, we talked about- BOYS! How cute! Young crushes 🙂 What a fun day girls day we had today.

This was a wedding day that I will not soon forget! Brian and Lucy are so perfect for each other. I love when I get to work with couples who just really fit so perfectly together it’s indescribable. Lucy is… pure elegance. She has a smile and laugh that can light up an entire room. The two of them made my job too easy! But just to make sure I stayed on my toes… a TORNADO did venture into our evening. This was my first, and hopefully last wedding where we had to evacuate to shelter. However, sure did make for some fun outdoor photos!

Our endevors took place in New York City Mills, MN. This was my first adventure to the small town. Upon arrival, I jumped up and down to my assistant that we just must use the old mill factory in the town. How unique would that be! The park that Lucy and Brian picked for the formal photos was absolutely perfect. We had a gorgeous day that included my favorite, puffy clouds!!! Thank you for including us in your special day guys, it was truly amazing!

Special thanks to my amazing assistant Jillian Bell, whom I couldn’t have kept my head straight without!

Here is cutie Terra Renee again and guess what? She is already 2 years old! Oh my does time fly. Terra is the sweetest, daintiest beautiful girl ever. Today we went out to a little bench in Cottage Grove by her parents house. This is an example that you really can do portraits just about anywhere. I brought along a porcelain tea set and we had tea for a while. What little girl doesn’t love that? Then we walked around around the grassy area and picked some while flowers. It was a lovely day with a little breeze. After our day in the grass we headed back to Mom and Dad’s for a birthday cupcake! Terra’s favorite part! How precious is that smile? Happy Birthday sweet girl. 🙂

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is visit the Zoo! I love both zoos we have here in Minnesota. They both have such different animals to see. My favorite animals are the monkeys. They are just so darn cute and silly. The zoo does make me sad seeing all the animals cooped up in there when they would be so much happier in the wild but I believe that zoos teach awareness and respect.
