The Grand Canyon is pretty much… indescribable. There pretty much isn’t a photo that could really capture how beautiful of a place it true is. This visit was a very quick one of only a few hours. I was in Arizona visiting a friend of mine and we made the drive of a few hours to visit the great hole in the ground. One of my favorite things about the Canyon were the Death Trees. Ok, I don’t think they are really called that, actually I have no idea what they are called but they are trees that are alive but look dead so I thought it an appropriate name. I found them quite fascinating. We hiked a short distance down the side of the cliff which was a little scary. I’m very afraid of heights. Some day I hope to come back here again and spend more time, visit the water falls and see the sun set. I bet it is quite a sight!
